India-Central Europe Business Forum” (ICEBF)
27-28 March 2014

The Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India in partnership with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is organizing “India-Central Europe Business Forum” (ICEBF) from 27-28 March 2014 at Federation House, New Delhi.

The initiative is being developed to extend an institutionalized platform to deliberate and evaluate hands-on innumerable trade and investment opportunities that need to be realized by Indian & Central European industries in each other’s markets. The scheduled two-day ICEBF, will provide a platform to initiate fresh dialogue on commonalities and synchronization of economic agenda, sectoral cooperation and business-to-business engagement between CE companies and their Indian counterparts. The proposed business forum will comprise of:

  • Plenary Sessions,
  • Sectoral Session(s),
  • Ambassadors Roundtable,
  • Speed Meetings,
  • B2B meetings and
  • Session on legal and taxation framework on doing business with CE countries.

The initiative will focus among other things on R&D, Innovation & Skill development, Logistics, Clean & Green technologies, High-end Manufacturing including Industrial Research & Technological design, Automation, IT & ITES, Energy, Agri & Food Processing, Maritime, Fisheries, Life Sciences and Tourism etc. For further details please see the website http://www.ficci-indiace-businessforum.com .

A high powered ministerial delegation from Serbia is expected to visit India to participate in the forum.
