1. Embassy of India is pleased to inform that Ambassador has announced the opening of India Serbia Photography Contest 2014 at the EXIT festival in Novi Sad on 10 July 2014. Salient features of the contest are as follows:

• The theme of the India Serbia Photography Contest is "MY LAND. MY PEOPLE";
• The contest is open to the citizens of Serbia and India;
• The contest will run till 10 November 2014;
• The results will be announced in December 2014;
• Teams have been created on both sides to run the contest: In Serbia with Brand Serbia, Exit Festival and Exit Foundation; and in India with the IdeaWorks Design & Strategy;

2. The contest will enable the people of Serbia and India to capture their perspectives on their country, people and culture on camera. All the brilliant entries will be shared with all through the social media networks of Facebook and Twitter.

3. The India Serbia Photography contest has been conceptualized by IdeaWorks Design & Strategy of India as a programme that not only encourages all citizens from the two countries to participate, but it also brings together professionals from both the countries to work together in the jury panel that comprises of some notable photography professionals from both the countries. National Institute of Design, India's leading design school and also ranked amongst the top 30 design schools in the world, is also collaborating in this project.

4. Etihad Airways will sponsor the Grand Prize Winner from Serbia with two tickets to India and India Tourism Office, Frankfurt (Incredible India) will host the two guests from Serbia in India for 7 days. The Grand prize Winner from India will be hosted in Serbia by Brand Serbia for 7 days. The Top 20 entries from Serbia and Top 20 entries from India will also be rewarded by providing VIP passes for the next edition of the EXIT Festival.
