The Embassy of India in Belgrade is pleased to inform that H.E. Mrs. Narinder Chauhan, Ambassador of India inaugurated the 5th International Yoga Festival - Serbia 2014, which was held on 6th & 7th September 2014, at Belgrade Ada, organized by the Yoga Federation of Serbia & the International Yoga Academy, under the guidance of Prof. Predrag Nikic, who is also steering the Indian Cultural Centre, Belgrade.

The festival opened with ribbon cutting by Indian Ambassador followed by a musical performance by opera singer Ivana Janošević, member of the National Theatre of Belgrade opera ensemble. The Festival was attended by a large number of people.

Yoga teachers and instructors from Serbia and worldwide presented various yoga styles and approaches to yoga practice.  In the spirit of recognition, understanding and respect of diversity, many yoga schools presented their activities:
