Performance of folklore ensemble Punjab Cultural Promotion Council (PCPC) within the 5th International FIDAF Folk Dance & Music Festival Competition ‘’Belgrade Award’’, to be held in Belgrade 3-7 July 2017

The Indian folklore ensemble Punjab Cultural Promotion Council (PCPC) will participate in the 5th International FIDAF Folk Dance & Music Festival Competition ‘’Belgrade Award’’, to be held in Belgrade 3-7 July 2017. The schedule of the folklore group’s performances at the ‘’Belgrade Award’’ Festival are as follows: 

3 July

7 p.m. - Festive parade (procession) will start off from the City Hall building through the     city center, from Terazije , along  Knez Mihailova street to Kalemegdan

8.30 p.m. – Inaugural at Kalemegdan (at the Partizan basketball club ground) 

4 July 

7 p.m.--Performance at outdoor stage at Vuk Monument (Zvezdara municipality)

8.30 p.m. – Performances at Nikola Pasic Square at several locations in downtown Belgrade 

5 July

7 p.m. – Performance at Kalemegdan; Knez Mihailova street

8.30 p.m. – Performance at Republic Square 

6 July

7 p.m. – Performance at Ada Ciganlija

8.30 p.m. – Performance at Belgrade Waterfront; Sava promenade 

7 July

8 p.m. - Competition Gala Program, closing & award presentation ceremony, at Sava Center 

The folklore ensemble Punjab Cultural Promotion Council (PCPC) was founded in 1999 in Ludhiana City of Punjab, to promote the rich cultural heritage of Punjab state, in North India, and Indian folklore on national and international horizons. The ensemble represents folk songs, folkloric traditions, folk music and folk dances from Punjab region. It had attracted & enthralled millions of world spectators & folk artists of many countries of the world, during their more than 250 international folk dance performances.
