International Day of Yoga to be marked in Serbia

Minister of Youth and Sports Vanja Udovičić met today with Ambassador of India H .E Narinder Chauhan. The subject of the meeting was marking International Day of Yoga, June 21, in Serbia. ‘’Ministry of Youth and Sports supports this, as well as all other manifestations aimed at promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyle’’, said the Minister of Youth and Sports Vanja Udovicic.

International Day of Yoga was established by the United Nations General Assembly Resolution in December 2014 on the initiative of the Republic of India. The Resolution saw a record number of 193 delegates and 177 countries co-sponsoring it.
