"Puppet Shows by Vinod Bhatt Puppet Group from India"
23-25 September 2014

Embassy of India, Belgrade, in collaboration with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Government of India, is pleased to announce the visit of a 4-member Puppet Group, led by Mr. Vinod Bhatt, to Serbia from 23rd to 25th September 2015. The Puppet Group is scheduled to perform at the following places:-

i) 23rd September 2014: Performance at the 21st International Festival of Children’s Theatre, Subotica at 1800 hrs.;

ii) 24th September 2014: Performances at two elementary schools at Grocka, at 1200 hrs. and at 1700 hrs. respectively;

iii) 25th September 2014: Performance at the International School of Belgrade, Senjak.

The performances will include a ballet dance by “Anarkali”, a horse dance, a snake charmer trying to catch a snake, a juggler throwing balls in the air, a love story of “Laila and Majnu”, a “two in one” puppet dance and a black magician play.

The children in Serbia will have the opportunity to enjoy the performances of Indian Puppet Shows at the above places.
