on 21st April, 2000 hrs at Kolarac Foundation, Belgrade.

Embassy of India Belgrade, in collaboration with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), New Delhi is pleased to host the first ever live performance by classical Indian RUDRA VEENA group led by Dr. Jayanta Kumar Das on 21st April, 2000 hrs at Kolarac Foundation, Belgrade. The entry to the event is free.

‪Rudra Veena is a large plucked string instrument used in Hindustani classical music, one of the major types of Veena played in Indian classical music. It is an ancient instrument rarely played today. As Rudra is one of the names for the Hindu God ‪Shiva, Rudra Veena literally means "the Veena dear to Shiva".
