Memorandum of Understanding on archival cooperation signed between the Archives of Yugoslavia and the National Archives of India 

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on archival cooperation was signed in the Archives of Yugoslavia premises on 18^th October, 2017 between the Archives of Yugoslavia and the National Archives of India. The MoU was signed by the Director of Archives of Yugoslavia Dr. Milan Terzić and Ambassador of the Republic of India in Belgrade Mrs. Narinder Chauhan.

The signing ceremony was attended by First Secretary of the Embassy of India Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Representative of the Asia, Australia and Pacific Dept. (MFA) Ms. Ljiljana Belojević, Professor of the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade (Social Science Seminar) Dr. Aleksandar Petrović, Secretary of the Seminar at the Faculty of Philology Mr. Arsen Arsenović, Professor of the Faculty of Political Studies and Law, University ‘’Union – Nikola Tesla’’, Belgrade, Dr. Dušan Vasić, Representative of the ‘’Nomadik’’ organization Ms. Maja Familić, Yoga Instructor and student of Hindi language at the Fculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad, Miss Maja Vučković and Special Advisor and Secretary of the Media and Public Relations Department, Government of the state of Jharkhand, Ranchi, India.

After the signing of the MoU, Ambassador of India, as per the agreement with the Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia, announced future joint projects of the two countries’ archives. This includes preparation of an exhibition of documents marking 70 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries, as well as a collection of documents on the same subject.
