Indian Girls Boxing Team of 21 members participates in the 7th Nations Cup International Women’s Boxing Tournament in Sombor, Serbia, from 9-15 January 2018

The Ambassador of India Mrs. Narinder Chauhan attended the opening ceremony on 10 January of the 7th Nations Cup International Boxing Tournament in Sombor, where a 21-member Indian women’s boxing team is participating. So far in the Tournament, the Indian team’s ranking is very successful, and seven girls will be competing in the semifinals.

More than 190 women boxers from 30 countries, including Serbia, India, Russia, China, Italy, Netherlands, Hungary, Norway,etc. are competing in the Nations Cup, in the Junior, Youth and Elite Women’s category.

The Tournament, organised by the Serbian Boxing Association, ends on 15th January, 2018.
